We’re looking for a creative, organised and social-media-savvy Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team.

If you know your Reels from your TikToks, love spotting the next big social trend, and can turn a great product into content people actually want to engage with, this could be the role for you!

You’ll play a key role in growing our social media presence, building our online community, working with influencers and creating content that ultimately drives engagement, website traffic, leads and sales.

You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, Marketing Operations Manager, outsourced videographers, TikTok freelancers and digital agencies to bring the brand to life across social media.

What You’ll Be Doing

Social Media Management

• Help develop and implement an engaging social media strategy aligned with the overall brand vision.
  
• Manage the social media content calendar across multiple platforms.
  
• Plan, create, schedule and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok, including Farm Shop social pages.
  
• Oversee and coordinate content creation with internal and external creative partners.
  
• Create content that drives engagement, website traffic and brand awareness.
  
• Support the development of social media advertising content.
  
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, questions and messages and directing queries to the relevant teams.
  
• Keep up to date with social media trends, platform changes and new opportunities.
  
• Help identify creative, cost-effective ways to grow our online following and engagement.
  

Influencer Management

• Help develop and implement an influencer strategy to reach new audiences and demographics.
  
• Identify and coordinate with influencers to create brand awareness and social buzz.
  
• Work with influencers around product launches, seasonal campaigns and other marketing activities.
  
• Coordinate influencer PR packages with the Marketing Operations Manager.
  
• Build positive relationships with influencers and other brand collaborators.
  

Photography & Videography

• Coordinate freelance photography and videography requirements with the Creative Director and Marketing Operations Manager.
  
• Help arrange content shoots for social media, websites, catalogues and other marketing channels.
  
• Ensure visual content is on-brand, engaging and suitable for each platform.
  
• Video editing experience will be a definite advantage.
  

Analytics & Performance

• Monitor social media performance and engagement.
  
• Assist with analysing social media and advertising metrics.
  
• Use insights from Google, Meta and TikTok analytics to understand what content works and where opportunities exist.
  
• Help improve future campaigns based on performance data.
  

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Media, Mass Communication, Business Communication or a related field.
  
• Additional certifications in Social Media Management, Photography or Platform Optimisation would be advantageous.
  
• 3–5 years’ experience in social media management.
  
• Strong experience in social media planning, content creation and campaign execution.
  
• A solid understanding of Google, Meta and TikTok analytics.
  
• Experience with at least one of the following tools:

• Photoshop
  
• Lightroom
  
• Canva
  
• Monday.com
  
• Trello
  
• HubSpot
  
• Strong copywriting skills you’ll complete a copywriting test during the interview process.
  
• Excellent English communication skills.
  
• A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of what makes content stand out.
  
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to stay on top of deadlines.
  
• A genuine passion for social media, content and brands.
  
• Strong awareness of current social media trends and industry developments.
  
• Video editing experience is advantageous.
  
• A portfolio of your work is required for review during the recruitment process.
