Job Summary
Drawing Review & Material Planning:
Review engineering drawings and extract accurate material schedules.
Maintain, update, issue, and file drawings via the master drawing register.
Generate schedules for spare parts and organize assembly of standard stock items (e.g., hose tails, swing bolts, nameplates).
Procurement & Subcontractor Management:
Raise purchase orders and liaise directly with specialized subcontractors across machining, rolling, laser cutting, and dished ends.
Issue purchase orders for electrical subcontractors, transport logistics, and third-party services.
Provide secondary cover for consumables buying as required.
Registers, Stock & Compliance:
Maintain key operational registers, including laser cutting and flexible hose registers.
Oversee gauge and strong room equipment calibration schedules.
Perform etching on flexible hoses and plan delivery/collection routes as needed.
Audits & Continuous Improvement:
Conduct internal operational audits and supplier audits to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
