Our client, a well-established medical aid brokerage, is seeking a professional, organised and service-driven Administrative Assistant to provide support to one of their Medical Aid Consultants.

Key Responsibilities
Respond to client queries professionally and efficiently.
Liaise with medical aid schemes, insurers and gap cover providers to resolve client queries.
Obtain hospital authorisations from medical aid providers.
Manage email correspondence with clients, colleagues and service providers via Outlook.
Submit, track and follow up on application forms.
Maintain accurate electronic filing systems.
Answer and manage the consultant's work phone.
Provide general administrative support and assist with day-to-day office tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Previous administrative experience (experience within the medical aid, insurance or healthcare industry will be advantageous).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage follow-ups effectively.
Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
A compassionate, patient and service-oriented personality.
Advantageous
Ability to communicate in isiXhosa.
Experience dealing with medical aids, gap cover providers or insurance companies.
