An exceptional opportunity is available for a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to join a prestigious luxury safari lodge. We are seeking a dedicated culinary professional who thrives in a high-end hospitality environment and is committed to delivering outstanding dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Prepare and present dishes within your designated kitchen section to the highest standards
✅ Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
✅ Assist with menu development and daily specials
✅ Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff and interns
✅ Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
✅ Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
✅ Minimise food wastage through effective portion control
✅ Cater for guest dietary requirements and special requests
✅ Support special events, bush dinners, and unique guest experiences

Requirements
✔ Formal culinary qualification
✔ Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a luxury lodge, hotel, or fine dining environment
✔ Must have strong pastry experience and the ability to produce high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods
✔ Strong knowledge of modern and classical cooking techniques
✔ Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
✔ High attention to detail and presentation
✔ Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
✔ Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
