Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Assistant Floor Manager to join the team at a prestigious luxury restaurant in Stellenbosch. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to grow within the hospitality industry, supporting the smooth operation of front-of-house services and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Package & Benefits
Salary: R6,000 – R8,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Live-out position (own transport and valid driver’s license required)
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Floor Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations
Support staff in delivering seamless guest service across dining and event spaces
Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and ensure smooth table management
Monitor service standards and assist in training junior staff
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Contribute to the coordination of special events and functions
Provide hands-on support to the team, ensuring efficiency and professionalism at all times
Minimum Requirements
Previous hospitality experience in a supervisory or team support role (luxury environment advantageous)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach
Organisational ability and attention to detail in managing front-of-house tasks
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Professional presentation and commitment to delivering high service standards
