The Role

As a Senior Software Development Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives. You will lead end-to-end project delivery, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive continuous improvement across project management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple software development projects and programmes simultaneously.
  
• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through to successful delivery.
  
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery roadmaps.
  
• Drive system modernization, digital transformation, and platform enhancement initiatives.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and delivery optimization.
  
• Engage with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure project success.
  
• Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and project reporting.
  
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Business Analysis, Architecture, and DevOps.
  
• Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and compliance requirements.
  
• Champion project governance, delivery standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
  
• 10+ years of Project Management experience within software development environments.
  
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise software projects.
  
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects and programmes.
  
• Experience leading modernisation, transformation, or digital delivery initiatives.
  

Key Skills

• Strong project planning, budgeting, resource, and schedule management.
  
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of enterprise application delivery environments.
  
• Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and modern application architectures is advantageous.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
