Transport: Shuttle services provided Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a creative and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary team at a luxury safari lodge in the North West. This role is ideal for someone who can set the culinary direction, maintain impeccable standards, and ensure every dish served delights guests, while mentoring and supporting a hands-on kitchen team. ? Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver consistently outstanding cuisine • Oversee menu creation, planning, and seasonal specials • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene • Manage kitchen inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships • Mentor, train, and motivate staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment • Ensure smooth daily kitchen operations and resolve any challenges proactively • Uphold all health, safety, and operational standards ? Requirements • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in luxury lodges, hotels, or high-end restaurants • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach in the kitchen • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for food excellence • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks • Professionalism with a guest-focused approach • Comfortable working in a remote, live-in environment ?
