Job Summary

Port Elizabeth: DATA SCIENTIST Duration: 12 MONTHS CONTRACT Minimum Requirements: -Matric + relevant Degree/Diploma -2 to 5 years relevant data scientist experience, preferably in planning, or analytics centre of excellence role -Experienced in data management and advanced analytics -Computer literate with particular proficiency in programming and BI tools -Data management and data engineering skills to enable optimal data process and methodology -Expertise in advanced analytics -Excellent analytical and abstraction reasoning skills, as well as problem solving ability -Able to gather, synthesize, and analyze data -Team player and able to work with and through others -Strong business acumen + excellent communication skills -Stable employment record and contactable references Duties: -Data analysis and reporting for Information, Communication and Technology solutions and products provider -Build algorithms and designs experiments to merge, manage, interrogate and extract data -Create processes and methods to automate information gathering across value chain -Maintain and track accurate data to support supply chain decision making -Descriptive-, Diagnostic-, Predictive- and Prescriptive analytics -Develop frameworks Salary: Negotiable E-mail detailed CV in Word or PDF (not as a link) to oneilc@telkomsa.net and indicate Ref CR2198 and your salary expectation.
