Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Salesperson. This role is suited to an energetic person with a good work ethic and enthusiasm to develop sales skills and product knowledge.
Role requirements:
- Drivers license - applicant must have a valid drivers license and be willing to learn how to drive a Hyster.
- Good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and meet set deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills- candidate must be well-spoken and polite, with confidence to interact with customers comfortably.
- An agricultural background would be advantageous.
- Previous sales experience is advantageous.
- Eager to acquire sales skill and technical knowledge of specialised products.
- Target driven.
- Self-motivated individual- who can carry out tasks and duties in full without supervision.
- Able to work well within a professional team and communicate with the team.
- Ability to problem solve and think independently.
Job description:
- The junior salesperson would be expected to maintain established relationships with customers as well actively seeking potential sales.
- The salesperson would visit customers, take stock orders and help deliver orders.
- They are required to be an excellent representative to customers and would be mentored by senior salespeople if required.
- A weekly customer visit roster must be planned and executed with feedback relayed to management.
