Job Summary
Key Responsibilities – Restaurant Management (Primary Focus) Operations: Overall responsibility for daily opening and closing, staff scheduling, inventory control, payroll, and budget management. Team Leadership: Lead, support, and manage department heads and supervisors; recruit, train, and motivate teams across front- and back-of-house. Customer Experience: Ensure consistently high service standards, handle escalated complaints, and maintain a welcoming, well-run environment. Financial & Admin Oversight: Monitor financial performance, assist with marketing initiatives, and manage supplier and vendor relationships. Coffee Roastery Oversight (Advantageous, Not Essential) General oversight of roasting operations in collaboration with the roastery team. Understanding of roasting principles, quality control, and production workflows. Ability to engage in cupping, quality discussions, and green coffee planning where required. (We intend to employ dedicated support for roasting; however, prior knowledge or experience in roasting would be highly beneficial.) Skills & Experience Proven experience in café or restaurant management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Sound financial understanding, including P&L responsibility. Passion for hospitality and specialty coffee, with a commitment to high standards. Coffee roasting knowledge or experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
