New opportunity as Hotel General Manager has become available with this busy 4*branded property in Accra Ghana! The property is undergoing a rebranding & the client is specifically looking for candidates with Marriott experience, who will be overseeing full operations, with a focus on guest experience & satisfaction! Requirements: · Fluency in English · Previous experience in Sub Saharan Africa · Rebranding or preopening experience highly beneficial · The client is open to strong DOO profiles ready to take their next step · Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (required). · Master’s degree (MBA or Hospitality Management specialization) is preferred, especially for international or luxury brands. About: · Strategic Leadership: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, brand standards, and growth objectives. · Operational Excellence: Manage daily hotel functions—including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and guest services—to deliver seamless and superior guest experiences. · Financial Management: Develop and control budgets, monitor financial performance, optimize revenue streams, and ensure cost efficiency. · Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor department heads and staff to foster a high-performance, service-driven culture. · Guest Experience: Maintain the highest standards of hospitality and service quality, responding proactively to guest feedback and market trends. · Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to health, safety, & regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies & quality assurance standards. · Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, corporate teams, suppliers, and local partners. · Innovation & Growth: Identify opportunities for operational improvement, new service offerings, and technology integration to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
