Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (Live-in) Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources for a prestigious luxury property group based in the Northern Cape. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract offering an exciting opportunity to lead the full HR function within a purpose-driven organisation operating in a unique luxury hospitality environment. ? Role Overview The successful candidate will provide both strategic and operational leadership across all areas of Human Resources, including talent management, employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, remuneration, compliance and employee wellbeing. This role also oversees employee support facilities, including staff accommodation and recreational amenities, while ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture. ? Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation's long-term vision and objectives. Provide strategic HR guidance and support to the executive leadership team. Lead recruitment initiatives across all departments to attract and retain top talent. Develop succession planning and talent retention strategies. Build and maintain talent pipelines for key operational roles. Oversee performance management processes, including KPIs, reviews and development planning. Drive learning and development, coaching and leadership programmes. Foster a positive, inclusive and values-driven workplace culture. Manage employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes. Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and HR best practices. Oversee HR administration, payroll coordination, employee benefits and contract management. Manage employee facilities, including staff accommodation and recreational services. Support local employment initiatives and community development programmes. ✅ Requirements Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 8–10 years' HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices. Proven experience leading HR functions within complex or multi-department environments. Demonstrated success in building engaged, high-performing teams. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
