We’re recruiting for a global engineering powerhouse that’s transforming productivity in the mining and mineral processing sector. Their cutting-edge equipment and aftermarket solutions keep the world’s biggest mines running efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Now, they’re looking for a commercially driven Sales & Account Manager to lead their aftermarket services growth across Southern Africa.
As the go-to regional Sales & Account Manager, you'll own a high-impact portfolio of mining clients across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. You’ll be responsible for driving aftermarket service revenue, from proactive account development to technical solution selling.
Serve as the key contact for aftermarket spares, upgrades, and service solutions
Manage and grow key mining accounts while reactivating dormant customers
Identify and close service opportunities to boost site performance and uptime
Visit client sites (approx. 3 per week) to build strong, consultative relationships
Audit customer equipment and recommend service actions using Power BI & Dynamics 365
Lead RFQs, quotes, and negotiation processes with internal support
Collaborate with senior sales leaders to identify capital equipment referrals
Log all sales and service activities via CRM for visibility and performance tracking
Consistent growth in aftermarket service sales and customer retention
Technical credibility in all solution design and service recommendations
High-quality CRM reporting and pipeline visibility
Strong site-level relationships and commercial influence
A technical qualification (Mechanical / Electrical / Millwright / Fitter & Turner)
3–5 years of hands-on experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
2+ years in technical B2B sales, service delivery, or aftermarket account management
A proven ability to build trust with site managers, engineers, and operators
CRM fluency and comfort navigating systems like Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Power BI
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
Experience in field sales or technical consulting
Knowledge of mill relining systems or capital mining equipment
Contacts within the hard rock mining industry
