Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely new business quotations, risk proposals, and scheme renewals.
- Track tasks, meet turnaround times, and provide timely reporting to management.
- Capture and analyse claims experience to support pricing decisions.
- Update and maintain electronic filing systems and quotation registers.
- Analyse and report on various pricing and monitoring metrics.
- Engage with reinsurers and underwriters when required.
- Manage stakeholder escalations professionally and timeously.
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects outside of the core portfolio when needed.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education (Minimum Requirement)
- NQF Level 6 qualification (e.g., Degree in Data, Statistics, Finance, or related field).
Experience
- Experience in group risk, pricing support, actuarial support, insurance analytics, or a similar function is advantageous.
- Understanding of risk benefits and actuarial assumptions beneficial.
- Experience working with claims or pricing data advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to take initiative and improve processes.
- Good understanding of data capturing, analysis, and reporting.
