Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly capital calculations for the organization and its clients
- Assist with IFRS17 modelling of LRC and LIC provisions
- Take ownership of capital projections for ORSA processes
- Participate in initiatives to optimize capital and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to quarterly and annual regulatory deliverables
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Education: Degree in Actuarial Science
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as an Actuarial Analyst; passed or exempt from at least 9 CT actuarial exams (or equivalent)
- Skills:
- Expert knowledge of MS Office
- Advanced MS SQL and programming experience
- Strong understanding of SCR components and prudential standards
- Familiarity with IFRS4, IFRS17, and Insurance Act
- Advantageous: Non-life insurance and cell captive experience
