Role Overview:
A luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger region is seeking an experienced and professional Spa Manager to lead its wellness offering and deliver exceptional spa experiences in a beautiful bush setting.
This role is ideal for a passionate wellness professional with strong spa management experience, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to maintain high luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full daily operation of the spa
- Ensure exceptional guest wellness experiences and service standards
- Manage spa therapists, schedules, and daily operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism
- Handle spa bookings, guest consultations, and treatment coordination
- Manage stock control, product ordering, and retail displays
- Ensure treatment rooms and spa facilities are well maintained
- Support staff training and performance management
- Maintain accurate administration and reporting processes
Requirements:
- Formal spa or beauty qualification essential
- Previous spa management experience essential
- Experience within luxury hospitality or safari lodge environments advantageous
- Strong leadership and guest relations skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Passion for wellness and service excellence
- Ability to work in a remote live-in environment
