F&B Manager | Luxury Lodge | Hoedspruit Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager for a luxury lodge based in Hoedspruit. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury lodge or boutique hotel operations, food and beverage management, and guest experience delivery. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about guest delight, with strong leadership abilities and a genuine love for food, wine, and people. This role requires a hands-on manager who can drive service excellence while developing and motivating a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all food and beverage operations within the lodge Deliver exceptional guest experiences with a focus on personalised service Lead; train, and motivate the F&B team to maintain five-star standards Manage stock control for both food and beverage departments Oversee menu development in collaboration with culinary teams Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards Manage purchasing and supplier relationships Monitor costs, budgets, and operational efficiencies Stay updated with industry trends to enhance guest offerings Support hospitality and service training across the lodge Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service Requirements: Diploma in Hospitality or Lodge Management (or similar qualification) 3–5 years’ experience in a 5-star boutique hotel or Big Five reserve/lodge environment Strong food and beverage management experience Experience in menu development and stock control (food and beverage) Strong administrative and organisational skills Experience in purchasing and supplier management Solid knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in hospitality Passion for food, wine, people, and service excellence Code 8 driver’s licence and own transport essential Package: Salary: R30,000 – R33,000 depending on experience Candidates who meet the above requirements and are interested in this opportunity are invited to submit their CV for consideration.
