Job Summary
- Support and maintain both the visitor-facing and back-end aspects of VeriClaim, our electronic Practice Management solution.
- Participate in the development of new features and functionality using Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, C#, MSSQL queries and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues and enhance the functionality of our product, providing production support in troubleshooting, issue resolution and root cause analysis to resolve any defects that may arise.
- Refactor and enhance existing front-end and back-end application software, based on software requirement specifications and coding standards.
- Work in a hybrid development process that combines SCRUM Sprint and waterfall methodologies.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development to ensure that VeriClaim remains innovative and competitive, ensuring the quality of the user interface and user experience of our product.
- Continuously improve code quality by following coding standards, writing clean code, and participating in code reviews.
- Ensure that the solutions developed are aligned with the company's security and compliance requirements.
- Work alongside Testers to test, debug and improve faulty application code, identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to these issues.
Required Technical Skills:
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code that is easy to understand and modify.
- Ability to learn new technologies and programming languages quickly.
- Strong proficiency in C# .Net Framework and/or C# .Net Core.
- Strong proficiency in Angular (at least version 5).
- Strong proficiency in Bootstrap (at least version 4).
- Hands on experience with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and Ajax.
- Experience with MySQL, MSSQL or NoSQL databases.
- Material Design experience.
- Experience with Xamarin/MAUI and developing cross-platform apps would be advantageous.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and experience in developing web-based applications that are optimized for various screen sizes and devices.
- Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
- Knowledge of browser compatibility issues and ways to address them.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging front-end issues using browser developer tools.
- Knowledge of web architecture, including Azure.
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading, image optimization, and code minification.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
