Job Summary
Our Client, a market leader in the Healthcare Industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Clinical Supervisor – Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to their team based in Centurion Gauteng.
Purpose of the role: To oversee the daily clinical development and supervision of the operational team, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and continuous professional development in line with regulatory board requirements.
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (essential)
- Qualified Registered Counsellor, Social Worker (post-graduate qualification preferred), or Psychologist
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the counselling industry as a counsellor
- At least 5 years’ experience as a clinical supervisor providing formal case supervision (aligned with SACSSP / HPCSA / EAPA-SA CPD supervision criteria)
- Strong theoretical knowledge and training across a wide range of therapeutic modalities (beyond Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
- Experience within an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) operational environment (advantageous)
- Experience developing and/or delivering clinical training to qualified counsellors (advantageous)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain clinical protocols and standard operating procedures ensuring ethical, legal, and operational excellence
- Oversee care centre service recovery and client experience functions
- Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) process and certification
- Provide expert clinical advice and insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver training, coaching, and clinical supervision within the care centre to ensure ethical and professional counselling practices
- Lead and support a team of counsellors, fostering performance, engagement, and accountability
- Handle sensitive and executive-level client referrals with professionalism and discretion
- Design, develop, and deliver formal clinical and operational training programmes
