Job Summary
Tableau Product Technical Leadership (Product Management and Technical Development)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the data evangelist for the business; Tableau – actively promoting and building data cultures within clients while growing the internal Tableau competency
- Maintain required product knowledge
- Maintain required technical certification levels
- Technical Development: developing efficient, elegant and functional dashboard solutions for clients
- Technical Development: POCs: developing and delivering product demos, highlighting new product features, and building POC solutions for clients
- Maintain a vendor product roadmap, attend vendor updates / events
- Build & maintain a relationship with Tableau(vendor) technical representatives
- Participate in Pre Sales and Marketing activities for the Tableau product
- Training clients in product capabilities
- Training, mentoring and up-skilling internal team for internal capabilities
Required Experience:
- Strong data visualisation experience in a leading tool (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Major project exposure delivering data visualisation with both enterprise-wide implementation and adoption strategy
- Experience with leading data literacy initiatives and data culture change
- Tableau Desktop experience
- Cleaning and preparation of data for reports and dashboards
- Requirements analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Technical pre-sales and product demos
