Job Summary
Our client, a leading distributor of refurbished and new IT equipment—including DELL desktops, workstations, laptops, servers, and parts—based in Montague Gardens, is looking for two experienced Internal Sales Consultants.
What We're Looking For:
- Sales Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on sales experience, especially in canvassing new clients, prospecting, and building a strong sales pipeline.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating leads, nurturing relationships, and driving sales growth.
Skills Required:
- Exceptional Communication: High proficiency in both verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with the internal team.
- Computer Proficiency: Solid understanding of computers and software applications. Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other tools for managing customer data, tracking sales, and generating reports.
- Target-Oriented: Strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets. History of goal setting and achieving results within set timeframes.
- Self-Motivation and Resilience: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Proactive, self-sufficient, and able to manage time effectively without constant supervision.
- Outstanding Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, anticipating client needs, responding promptly to issues, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Database Management: Ability to generate new leads and nurture relationships with existing clients. Proven track record of maintaining an extensive customer database and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Sales Success and Business Development: Experience in acquiring new business and maintaining and expanding a customer base.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Mature, self-driven approach to sales. Ability to independently acquire, nurture, and grow customer relationships with a consultative, solution-based sales approach.
- Innovative Sales Strategies: Effective client management from initial engagement to long-term relationship management. Creative approaches to overcome barriers and seize new opportunities.
- Performance-Based Earnings: Motivated by performance-based compensation and eager to earn commissions that exceed the base salary.
Other Details:
- Office Hours: 8:15 am – 4:45 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:15 am – 3:45 pm Friday.
- Salary: R14,000 basic with an attractive commission structure.
