Highly successful, boutique data consultancy has an excellent career opportunity for a seasoned Head of People and Operations. Reporting into the CEO you will be responsible for:
People:
? Manage the overall people function in the business, including strategy, development, talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, remuneration, retention and offboarding
? Playing a role in the strategic deliberations of the leadership team
? Partner with management to address day-to-day HR operational issues such as employee relations, compensation reviews, performance management and training
? Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends, employment legislation and government regulations to ensure regulatory compliance
? Ensuring that the organisation's values are reflected in people-oriented decisions
? Driving any change management initiatives
? Develop and manage annual budgets for your areas of responsibility
? Building talent and capability across the business (utilising our current Eighty20 Academy has a base), including coaching
? Creating and maintaining comprehensive talent retention plans for the organisation.
? Designing appropriate employee recognition and incentive programmes.
? Designing and managing an organisation's health and well-being programmes.
? Drive transformation strategy (B-BBEE, EE, Skills Development)
Operations/Marketing:
? Sets marketing strategy with the CEO and leadership team to drive brand awareness and works with internal teams and contractors to execute the strategy
? Facilitates and ensures the identification of opportunities to raise the profile of the brand
? Drive thought leadership through various campaigns and social media activities
? Evaluates all requests for Corporate Social Investment and selects those that best support the
brand and image of the company.
? Manages website, social media platforms etc
? Responsible for managing the office and maintaining vendor SLA's.
Qualifications and experience
? Relevant Degree, diploma in human resources, strategic management, business administration, marketing or related, with 7 years plus experience in leading at a management level within agile, fast- paced growing environment.
? Strong record of HR management experience
? Experience of driving change in an organisation
? The ability to influence at all levels within an organisation
? The ability to lead and coach at senior level and beyond. This includes developing a coaching ethos throughout an organisation
? General business skills
? Familiarity and basic understanding of social media platforms i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter
