Job Summary

Seeking a Senior IT Technician/Technical Consultant. Must remain cool, calm & collected during a crisis. Should possess high energy with attention to detail. Needs to be adaptable, trustworthy and hands-on. Must have an orientation toward people & understand the principles & necessity of quality & service. Should be presentable with good interpersonal skills. Must take ownership & control of situations. Requirements & Experience: • Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience • A+ & N+ certifications o Networking o Data Backup, restoration & disaster recovery knowledge in Acronis Veeam, Storage Craft o Trouble shooting of Microsoft Server, both remotely & onsite o Report writing o Advanced Excel o Working within Virtual Environments • VMCE Certification is a great advantage • Excellent communication & command of the English language • Accountability, Strong organisational & time management skills, with a high level of initiative • Drivers Licence Responsibilities: • Salesperson accompaniment • Presales on site meetings • Proof of Concepts • Maintenance & support • Architecture & customisation • Report writing & presentation • Monitoring of Backup solutions • Mentorship & possible management of a small team Entails working to provide storage & data management solutions for efficient and safe preservation, & restorability. May consist of designing data recovery & backup systems to implement remotely or onsite.
