The purpose of the role is to generate sales as well as develop and optimise sales functions and processes and to maximise the sales of the company's software products and services.
Duties include researching and developing in-depth market and product knowledge gaining a clear understanding of a client’s business and their requirements, seeking out prospects and generating new client leads, working with the Head Sales to compile a defined market strategy and an efficient sales lead generation / pipeline. Managing responses to requests for information/ proposals or clarifications, providing weekly status reports and coordinating with other Sales and Account Executives for any potential information gathering.
Minimum 10 years of sales experience
Experience in selling insurance software products and services
Financial service software application knowledge
Client research skills using database or internet
Knowledge of regional markets
Excellent negotiation skills
Experience in meeting and exceeding targets within a sales environment
