International leading provider of Hygiene and Sanitation Services and Solutions has a vacancy for a New Business Development Consultant, to serve the Northern Regions of Gauteng. A passion for sales and a minimum of 2 years' experience in the hygiene industry selling to the Food and Beverage industry required. Based in Gauteng.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or relevant Chemical/Sales qualification
• Minimum 2 years experience in Technical and Specialized Sales
• Chemical Sales experience within the Food and Beverage industry
• Open Plant Cleaning and CIP knowledge
• Willing to work night shift if required
• High Level MS Office literacy
• Own reliable transport and valid drivers license
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing market

Duties

• Pre-planning Weekly Sales Prospects
• Develop own customer base, and generate leads by means of cold calling
• Research potential customers, service new and existing customers
• Meet agreed sales targets by achieving daily and weekly call ratios
• Reporting (cold calling/customer sales/ growth/trends), maintain records and documentation
• Client site surveys to supply solutions
• Prepare and present quotations/proposals/tenders and presentations
• Develop and implement growth strategy, focusing on specific market segments and developing specific industry sectors
• Report to management regarding customer needs/problems/interests/competitive activities
• Negotiate Sales and initiate Invoicing and payment
• Hand over contracts to operations
• Manage costs
• Enhance own product knowledge
• Improve and maintain standard of service, including follow-ups and after sales service
• Implement customer product training
