The successful incumbent will be responsible to conceptualise and produce designs for a diverse range of graphic, print, and digital collateral across the various businesses within the
clients entity and all its subsidiaries.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver on a diverse range of graphic design requirements across various channels
• Manage the design process from brief to production
• Work closely with a Copywriter/Head Designer/Brand Manager to create high-quality artwork to support concepts
• Present concepts using mock-ups and illustrations where necessary
• High-quality design output for various elements.
• Create finished artwork i.e. DTP/repro

•Contributes positively to the team and works as a team player
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops and training courses; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
• Required to fulfil ad-hoc duties as and when required.
• Create social content and digital banners based on content briefs
• Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc where required

Media Studio duties:

• Taking photos of employees and photo-editing.
• Assist in setting up studio sets and décor.
• Maintaining equipment updates (updates on studio laptop)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A solid understanding of design principles including layout, typography, and colour theory.
• Attention to detail and uphold a high standard of accuracy across all executions.
• Strategic and conceptual thinker
• Deliver fresh and innovative designs and displays a high-level creativity
• Superior knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro DC
• Proficient in Adobe Premier or After Effects
• Create and update presentation decks on Microsoft PowerPoint
• Understanding of web design principles and UI & UX
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage many projects at once and meet deadlines.
• A self-starter attitude and able to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility – showing a willingness and ability to respond positively to changing circumstances.
• Accepts constructive feedback.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric
• Tertiary design qualification from a reputable design school or university
• 4- 5 years’ design experience required
• Proven track record of design delivery
