Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products and services
- Prepare well-structured drafts
- Proofread and edit copy supplied by other members of the team
- Proofread your own work before submission
- Coordinate with the design team to illustrate content
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Understanding of, and experience in, creating content for various social media platforms
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in their content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
- Update website content as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ proven work experience as a Content Writer, Journalist, or similar role
- Technical writing experience in the financial industry would be highly advantageous
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Ability to break down complex concepts
- Excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation and grammar
- Excellent time management and the ability to stick to deadlines
- Capacity to work on multiple writing projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications Studies or related field
Bonus skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- PR experience
- Experience working on WordPress or other Communication Management Systems
- Excellent creativity skills
- Experience developing and executing email campaigns
