Job Summary
You will be responsible for discovering, developing, and hunting new sales opportunities. A crucial part of the role will be to have relevant discussions with new and existing clients whilst also presenting and adapting solutions to meet their needs. Your role will include the following functions:
- Design, implement and maintain a sales plan for the South African Market
- Building and managing a qualified pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking, and working with in-house client management teams.
- Building excellent relationships with key client stakeholders & decision makers to support effective selling on new opportunities
- Responsible for closing opportunities and negotiating contracts
- Guide online content for marketing and assist with generation of articles for the local market with the broader aim of generating sales.
Requirements
You will need to be driven and adventurous, combined with a positive attitude and never-give-up approach - hungry and motivated to succeed in the world of sales.
- Approximately 2 years of working experience in a sales and business development environment.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Interest in marketing strategies, ability to dig into Market Research and data
- A "Hunter" attitude to getting new business: you will need to have commercial awareness and an ability to identify opportunity.
- A passion for working with people, teams and delivering sustainable business.
- We also expect excellent written/spoken English skills and being extremely personable and client facing is crucial.
- Marketing / communication / Media agency experience is a plus
