Requirements Diploma in Information Technology, BTech (IT) or Computer Science, or equivalent 5+ years' software development experience in MySQL and PHP. Various PHP frameworks: MVC, Symfony 2, Laravel, Zend, Proprietary Proficiency with Linux (e.g. RedHat or CentOS) Understanding of SQL databases An excellent understanding of Object Oriented development methodologies and executing them. Webservices (client mailers, integration with 3rd parties such as Google Analytics, SalesForce, ActOn, UI and UX work) Billing System (invoicing, payment gateway integration, stock management) Messaging Engine (client facing APIs, least cost routing protocols, supplier integration) Various JS frameworks: JQuery and AngularJS Various dependency management tools: Composer, bower and NPM Legacy system refactoring and migration to new systems Continuous integration and deployment, Jenkins API development: REST, OAuth, and various other types Knows Agile and Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with Version Control systems like GIT or SVN.
