Job brief

We are looking for a Tech Recruitment Manager to manage and oversee their company’s tech hiring.

General description:

The recruitment manager will work closely with their recruiters to manage sourcing, interviewing, and employment processes. To be successful in this role, you should have an HR academic background and experience screening and evaluating tech candidates. You will have a proven recruitment management background.

You should also be knowledgeable about labour legislation and Tech/IT recruitment

The ideal candidate is a team leader who can make effective decisions quickly.

Ultimately, you will manage their recruitment to ensure you hire qualified employees to meet the company’s current and future needs.

Responsibilities:

• Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
• Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
• Keep track of recruiting metrics
• Implement new sourcing methods (e.g., social recruiting and Boolean searches)
• Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
• Research and choose job advertising options
• Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
• Recommend ways to improve their employer brand
• Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
• Stay up to date on labour legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations
• Participate in job fairs and career events
• Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Tech Recruiting Manager
• Strong management skills
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
• Understanding out-of-the-box thinking for IT recruitment
• Ability to use social media platforms to attract candidates as well as, StackOverflow and GitHub
• Know how to put together virtual networking events, ethical hackathons etc.
• Knowledge of labour legislation
• Experience with (online, phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening, and evaluation
• Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like GitHub)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s in HR Management or Organizational Psychology advantageous

Tableau Product Technical Leadership (Product Management and Technical Development)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be the data evangelist for the business; Tableau – actively promoting and building data cultures within clients while growing the internal Tableau competency
• Maintain required product knowledge
• Maintain required technical certification levels
• Technical Development: developing efficient, elegant and functional dashboard solutions for clients
• Technical Development: POCs: developing and delivering product demos, highlighting new product features, and building POC solutions for clients
• Maintain a vendor product roadmap, attend vendor updates / events
• Build & maintain a relationship with Tableau(vendor) technical representatives
• Participate in Pre Sales and Marketing activities for the Tableau product
• Training clients in product capabilities
• Training, mentoring and up-skilling internal team for internal capabilities

Required Experience:

• Strong data visualisation experience in a leading tool (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Major project exposure delivering data visualisation with both enterprise-wide implementation and adoption strategy
• Experience with leading data literacy initiatives and data culture change
• Tableau Desktop experience
• Cleaning and preparation of data for reports and dashboards
• Requirements analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Technical pre-sales and product demos

Key responsibilities

• Analyse product requirements from our Customers and Stakeholders.
• Design solutions that meet our strategic and operational objectives.
• Create and communicate reports on the progress of the development cycles.
• Create product specifications to empower the Development team to deliver on our promise to Customers and Stakeholders.
• Create supporting product documentation to communicate features to internal and external Stakeholders.
• Run User Acceptance Tests on delivered features to ensure that they meet the requirements.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver value to our Customers and Partners.
• Always stay consistent with our brand guidelines
• Make suggestions for better solutions or features informed by data

Qualifications and experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification with 2-5 years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Banking, payments of financial services
• Agile and Scrum essential
