Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the financial operations of a high-end estate and contribute to its continued growth and success.
Property Type: Luxury Wine Estate
Salary: R30,000 – R32,000 per month (Negotiable, dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor cash flow and implement effective financial controls
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and financial regulations
Provide strategic financial advice to support business decisions
Collaborate with management to optimise financial performance and efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality, wine, or luxury estate sector
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial legislation
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Ability to lead a finance team and work collaboratively with other departments
