Our client, a leader in the signage industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Finance Administrator to join their dynamic team based in North End, Port Elizabeth.
Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) – essential
Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping – advantageous
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a finance or administrative role
Experience with Payroll software – essential
Experience using Pastel Accounting – essential
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
Valid driver’s licence – advantageous
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Duties:
Processing monthly payroll accurately and on time
Maintaining employee payroll records and leave balances
Calculating overtime, deductions, allowances, and bonuses
Submitting payroll-related statutory returns where applicable
Responding to payroll-related queries from staff
Finance and Administration Duties:
Capturing invoices, receipts, and payments on Pastel
Managing creditors and debtors reconciliations
Preparing and processing supplier payments
Issuing invoices and following up on outstanding accounts
Performing bank reconciliations
Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
Assisting with month-end reports and basic financial reporting
General finance and office administration support
Salary and Benefits:
Basic Salary: R15,000 CTC (Non-negotiable)
