We're seeking a driven Junior Finance Manager who is eager to broaden their experience beyond traditional accounting and gain valuable exposure to financial planning, compliance, reporting, and operational finance.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial Management & Reporting

• Support the management of the full finance function.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports and management information.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial activities.

Financial Planning & Business Support

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial information and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Assist management in monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in strategic and operational finance initiatives.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and reporting standards.
• Maintain strong financial controls and support governance processes.
• Assist with regulatory and audit requirements where necessary.
• Support B-BBEE verification and related compliance activities.

Payroll & Operational Finance

• Assist with payroll-related processes and financial administration.
• Support operational finance activities across the business.
• Ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and timeously.

Systems & Process Improvement

• Work with the organisation's accounting and ERP systems.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Requirements

Qualifications

• BCom Degree or equivalent Finance qualification.
• CA(SA) qualification will be advantageous.
• Candidates currently completing their CA(SA) board examinations are encouraged to apply.

Experience

• 0-4 years' relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong accounting and financial management fundamentals.
• Exposure to reporting, reconciliations, and compliance processes.
• Experience working with accounting systems will be beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Pastel or similar accounting systems will be advantageous.
• Good analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
