Position available for a Chartered Accountant to provide robust financial management and reporting across an investment property portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role includes active liaison with funders and key stakeholders, close collaboration with and support to the asset manager on commercial and feasibility matters, and oversight of year‑end audit and statutory reporting processes. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Head of Finance will manage and oversee the full financial lifecycle of the client’s property portfolio.
R 2 150 000 – R 2 250 000 per annum

The Head of Finance will manage and oversee the full financial lifecycle of the client’s property portfolio.
- Lead asset level financial management across the entire lifecycle
- Financial reporting for the portfolio
- Analyse portfolio performance
- Build and maintain financial models incorporating rental income projections, cost assumptions, and expected returns
- Analyse budgets and forecasts to ensure they are in line with strategic priorities
- Produce detailed budgets and forward-looking forecasts for development projects
- Calculate, review, and monitor banking covenants for lender reporting and funding submissions
- Lead and manage the debtor function across the portfolio, overseeing accurate monthly billing, monitoring arrears and collections, and enforcing credit control policies
- Engage with tenants on escalations and turnover rentals, while working closely with legal and leasing teams on tenant handovers, arrears management, and issue resolution
- Technology optimisation and automation
- Improve financial systems and processes
- Assist with audit activities
- Statutory reporting processes
- Funder and stakeholder relationship management
- Chartered Accountant (SA) - preferred
- 10 years+ progressive post article experience
- Experienced with MDA Property Manager
- At least 5 years’ experience in property and asset management industry
- Financial modelling experience
R 2 150 000 – R 2 250 000 per annum
