Group FP&A & Commercial Finance Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation. This high-impact role sits at the heart of the finance function and offers significant exposure to executive leadership, strategic projects, and group-wide performance management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and commercial analysis activities across multiple business units. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide meaningful financial insights, challenge business assumptions, and support decision-making through robust reporting and data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across the group.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Support long-term planning and business performance management activities.
- Provide insightful analysis on revenue, profitability, operating costs, cash flow, and working capital performance.
- Deliver recommendations that support growth, efficiency, and commercial performance.
Group Reporting & Performance Management
- Manage the consolidation of management information across multiple business units.
- Prepare and deliver monthly executive reporting packs, dashboards, and performance reviews.
- Analyse financial results against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year performance.
- Track key financial and operational KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting methodologies across the group.
Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted finance partner to executive leadership and operational teams.
- Provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and profitability improvement.
- Evaluate business opportunities through financial analysis, business cases, and investment appraisals.
- Challenge assumptions and contribute to key commercial discussions across the organisation.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting quality.
Finance Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, controls, and financial frameworks.
- Drive automation and reporting improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Support finance transformation projects and system enhancements.
- Develop reporting tools and dashboards that improve visibility and decision-making.
- Leverage data analytics and technology to strengthen financial insight and performance management.
Executive & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with finance, operational, and leadership teams across the business.
- Present financial performance, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support Board and executive reporting requirements.
- Respond to strategic and ad hoc financial analysis requests with professionalism and accuracy.
Requirements
Qualifications
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (essential).
Experience
- 2-3 years post-qualification experience within:
- FP&A
- Commercial Finance
- Management Accounting
- Corporate Finance or related fields
- Experience operating within a multi-entity or group reporting environment.
- Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Strong commercial analysis and financial modelling experience.
- Experience within a fast-moving and commercially focused environment.
- Exposure to presenting information to senior leadership and executive stakeholders will be advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Sound understanding of IFRS and management accounting principles.
- Experience with financial dashboards and performance reporting tools.
- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualisation platforms advantageous.
- ERP systems experience beneficial.
- Familiarity with automation and modern reporting technologies advantageous.
