Compliance Monitoring Officer – Sandton
Our well-established client seeks a Compliance Monitoring Officer with 4-5 years’ experience and a relevant Compliance qualification. Medical Scheme or Insurance industry experience is essential. The successful candidate must also have at least 1 year Internal Audit experience.
Salary: Market-Related CTC
Minimum Requirements:
– Bachelor’s / Post Graduate Diploma in Compliance Management / Certificate in Compliance Management / Internal Auditing / Risk Management / CPrac (SA) – Compliance Practitioner designation from CISA
– 4–5 years’ experience in a Compliance Monitoring role/office
– 4–5 years’ experience in the Medical Scheme or Insurance industry
– At least 1 year Internal Audit experience
– Relevant experience and working knowledge of compliance management and internal auditing
– MS Office Suite – Computer literacy
Key Duties:
– Maintain and enhance the compliance framework, including policies, manuals, and templates.
– Identify, assess, monitor, and report on material compliance risks.
– Advise business units on compliance matters and support implementation of compliant policies and procedures.
– Collaborate with service providers and auditors to oversee compliance controls and processes.
– Develop and update Compliance Risk Management Plans (CRMPs) in line with annual plans.
– Execute compliance reviews and monitoring activities according to the annual Risk and Compliance Coverage Plan.
– Report on non-compliance issues and compliance risk management.
– Assess and recommend corrective actions for compliance issues.
