Job Summary
Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is looking for a driven and analytical FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. This role offers exposure to complex financial data, strategic planning processes, and senior stakeholder engagement.This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with data, building financial models, and delivering insights that shape business performance. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Perform variance analysis and deliver insights to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario planning
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements within financial services
- Prepare and present reporting packs to senior stakeholders
- Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education:
- BCom Honours in Accounting or a related field (essential)
- Master’s Degree advantageous
- CFA studies beneficial
- Experience:
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role
- Financial services industry experience non-negotiable
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Exposure to financial modelling and reporting tools
- Skills:
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling
- Strong understanding of IFRS
- Analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen
- Experience with systems such as Cognos, Sage, or similar
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
