A reputable manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint a Financial Manager to manage and oversee all financial activities within the business.This role offers the opportunity to work in a stable, operationally driven environment, with exposure to cross‑border consolidations and strategic financial planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, BBBEE maintenance and calculations, procurement spend analysis, and the management of a well‑established finance team. This role is well suited to a hands‑on finance professional who enjoys a dynamic manufacturing environment and adding value beyond the numbers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Financial Manager to take full ownership of the finance function within a growing business and make a meaningful impact.
Key responsibilities
- Full financial management, reporting, and compliance for the business
- Preparation, management, and control of annual budgets and forecasts
- Maintenance and accurate calculation of BBBEE, including verification readiness
- Analysis and control of procurement spend to support cost optimisation
- Management of cross‑border consolidations
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a finance team (6 direct reports)
Education:
BCom degree in Finance / Accounting or similar
Experience:
- 5–8 years’ relevant financial management experience
- Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong people management exposure
- Strong financial reporting and budgeting skills
- Solid understanding of BBBEE maintenance and calculations
- Experience with cross‑border financial consolidations
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
