Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Top Responsibilities:
- Process monthly bank statements using Pastel Partner.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Submit VAT201 & EMP201 on a monthly basis.
- Handle bi-annual EMP501 submissions.
- Perform PROVTAX calculations.
- Capture customer and supplier invoices.
- Process journal entries.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
Requirements:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook & Excel).
- 3 years of SAIPA/SAICA articles (essential).
- BCom in Accounting or Financial Management (completed).
- Advanced proficiency in Sage Pastel Partner.
- ACPAS experience (advantageous).
- Ability to work under pressure with high energy levels and strong stress tolerance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in Afrikaans & English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple data systems.
- Good interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends.
- A strong team player with attention to detail.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
