Create job packs consisting of parts list, assembly drawings, condition reporting and all other necessary document required to repair the equipment. Provide technical assistance to all internal and external customers and assist with assessment of the equipment in the workshop as and when required.Engineer and modify bills of material according to data sheet/ orderEvaluate materials and purchase items for pump projectsLiaise with the drawing officeSupply data to draughtsman and ensure drawings are in accordance with the data sheet specifications, expedite drawings from draughtsmanHandle internal queries from Sales, Purchasing and Production departmentsEnsure the efficient and effective engineering of all non standard bills of materials and their associated functionsComplete customer project documentationHandling all queries from customers/suppliersPlan and schedule project workUpdate inventories accordinglyCreate and update Material Master NumbersCreate and update QCPs for Engineered pumpsCreate and update evaluation reportsArchiving and maintaining of data books, drawings, job packs, bill of materials and QCPsComply with and enforce all COMPANY policies and proceduresAssist fellow employees with daily functions as and when requiredCarry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time.EDUCATION: Minimum National Diploma Mechanical EngineeringEXPERIENCE: Mechanical experience on plant and pump set package engineering5 years experience in pump, motors, mechanical seals, drawings, planning, pump selection, design, installation and maintenance Experience on Multistage, boiler feed and boiler circulating pumps would be an advantageousREQUIREMENTS: Computer literate.SAP experienceSolid Edge or similar 3D Cad / Mechanical Design AdvantageousExperience on FEA (Finite Element Analysis) / CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) -AdvantageousECSA Registration
