Job Summary
Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading company in the electrical industry, based in Sandton, to find a skilled Draughtsman. In this role, you will be integral to the design and planning of electrical systems, ensuring that all drawings and models are accurate and compliant with industry standards.Your expertise in electrical draughting will help streamline the workflow and facilitate effective communication between engineering teams and clients. Responsibilities:
- Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers to develop system designs and layouts
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards
- Review and revise designs as needed based on project specifications
- Maintain documentation and a drawing register for project tracking
- Support project managers and engineers in project planning and execution
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in electrical draughting
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Experience in the electrical industry is highly advantageous
