A well‑established engineering company is seeking a
Junior Mechanical Engineer to support day‑to‑day engineering operations, project work, and technical functions. This role offers strong learning exposure, mentorship, and long‑term growth potential within an industrial and engineering environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in design support, technical analysis, reporting, and field exposure, gaining valuable experience across multiple engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to senior engineers and technical teams
- Assist with mechanical design calculations, drawings, and documentation
- Support project planning, execution, and reporting
- Conduct basic engineering analysis and fault investigation
- Assist with inspections, installations, and commissioning activities
- Compile technical reports and maintain engineering records
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments as required
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards
Education
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Recently qualified graduates or candidates with 0–2 years’ experience encouraged to apply
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and materials
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exposure to CAD software (advantageous)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an engineering environment
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous, not essential)
