Responsibilities
- Machine Setup
Select and install appropriate dies, tools, and clamps on bending machines, including those with CNC systems. - Material Preparation
Accurately position metal workpieces (sheet, bar, pipe, or tube) using end stops or guides to ensure correct alignment for bending. - Machine Operation
Operate the bending machine to form metal components to specified angles and contours, following work orders and drawings. - Quality Control
Inspect fabricated parts to confirm compliance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. - Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication and minor repairs to ensure consistent machine performance and prevent downtime. - Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all company safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and health regulations. - Documentation
Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and completed tasks.
