Production Order Manager - Temp

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, cost, implement, and lead customer projects according to Order Management standards, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure accurate Order Management operations for assigned organizations, plants, or sites.
- Perform short-term and mid-term production plans, costing, estimating, and scheduling of materials, resources, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
- Manage order status, planning, and forecasts for logistics, production, and deliveries.
- Initiate, maintain, and improve systems to measure order operations performance and effectiveness.
- Analyse order plans and critical timelines to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with procurement and subcontractors to prevent delays and meet customer requirements.
- Ensure on-time delivery and cost control and manage customer communication and progress updates.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification.
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-10 years relevant work experience in heavy engineering.
- Exposure to CNC machines, conventional lathes, and milling machines.
- Experience with Turbines, compressors, and manufacturing.
- Proven track record of driving efficiency and machinery utilization.
- Advanced practical and theoretical understanding in manufacturing.
