Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop light current electrical systems
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and fault-finding
- Ensure compliance with SANS, IEC, and safety regulations
- Manage project timelines and technical documentation
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and project teams
- Support the maintenance and optimisation of electrical systems
- Assist with control and instrumentation integration
- Conduct site inspections and technical evaluations
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
- Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) advantageous
- Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience
- Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, and automation systems advantageous
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
- Strong understanding of electrical standards and regulations
- Valid driver’s licence
