Job Summary
Duties:
Facilities Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance schedules for all buildings, guest areas, staff accommodation, and grounds.
Technical Expertise: Manage complex systems including solar power, generators, water treatment, sewage, refrigeration, and HVAC.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff, contractors, and technicians.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including conducting regular safety inspections.
Budget & Procurement: Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of tools, and spare parts procurement.
Operational Support: Collaborate with lodge managers to minimize guest disruptions and maintain high-quality guest experience.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
At least 8+ years’ experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably within luxury lodges, resorts, or hotels.
Experience with Sustainability (Solar/Off grid), desalination/water treatment and CAPEX planning
Strong proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Proactive, analytical, and able to work under pressure in remote environments.
Valid driver’s license
