Junior Bookkeeper

Salary: R15 000 – R18 000 per month
Midvaal Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper for a well-established company based in Selby.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional looking to grow their accounting career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Non-Negotiable)
- Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or currently studying towards a relevant qualification
- 2–3 years' experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working with financial reporting tools
- Financial package knowledge preferred
- SAP Business One experience will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
- Process daily banking transactions and payments
- Manage petty cash administration
- Assist with VAT-related duties
- Assist with fixed asset administration
- General finance and administrative support
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Support the Finance Manager with daily accounting functions
