Job Summary
We have a Vehicle Driver position available within a dynamic automotive parts retail environment in Cape Town - Northern Suburbs. This role is ideal for a reliable and service-driven individual who takes pride in safe driving and timely deliveries.
Duties:
- Deliver automotive parts to customers accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
- Check goods against invoices before dispatch and delivery.
- Obtain signed proof of delivery (POD) documentation.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure optimal fuel and time usage.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and branch staff.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and compliant.
- Assist with loading, offloading, and basic warehouse duties when required.
Requirements:
- Proven previous 1-2 year`s delivery driving experience (automotive industry advantageous).
- Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit and able to lift automotive parts.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Matric (Grade 12) preferred.
- Valid Code 8 (or higher) driver’s licence (essential).
- Valid PDP (advantageous depending on company policy).
- Clear criminal record.
