Job Summary
Our client in Cape Town is currently seeking to appoint an energetic and result-driven, Tourism & Client Coordinator to join their current team. This individual will play a crucial role in assisting the Expeditions Manager with daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring a holistic approach to impact the client's experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Client Engagement.
- Product knowledge.
- Assisting in quoting and Proposal Creation.
- Creating and maintaining a booking system.
- Customer feedback for improvement.
- Checking and maintaining travel documentation of clients such as valid passports & visas.
- Supplying expeditions with pertinent information and real-time support during and after travel.
- Liaising with 3rd party marketing team.
- Reporting as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary education in Hospitality &/or Travel and Tourism or equivalent experience.
- Fully computer literate.
- Highly organised and detail oriented.
- A code 8 driver’s license will be essential. PDP would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in both verbal and written English , foreign language advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, positive, and willing to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior Hospitality/tourism experience (3) years.
