Job Summary
PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Ensure the company maintains a high efficiency on turnaround of receiving containers and loading of vehicles and stock loss.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
This position will be responsible for the following 4 Key Performance Areas:
- Financial KPA:
- Maintain Warehouse Budget : To manage costs within the set financial budget of Warehouse
- Customer KPA:
- Invoicing and dispatching
- External Customer Escalation and Exceptions
- To ensure customer service is maintained and achieved on Cash Sales side
- Operational KPA:
- Control and processing of incoming and outgoing of tyres.
- To ensure all processes are followed and Warehousing service is always upheld
- Manage the investigation on issues and see through from start to finish.
- Receiving& Destuffing of Import containers daily on time & in full
- Ensure the Dispatch team, Pick, Load & complete all orders as quick as possible to ensure quick vehicle turnaround time
- Ensure SAGE movement Report QTY balance with GRV qty captured by Import department
- All receiving documentation to be completed & submitted same day of receipt
- Ensure that QTY & Description match Import PO.
- Stock control : Ensure stocktake variances are within norms
- Stocktake admin queries to be resolve with 5 working days from last stocktake completion.
- Learn & Grow KPA:
- To ensure employees are performing to expectation and are competent and equipped to perform their duties
- Ensure own and subordinates’ JP and JD are updated quarterly and when required.
- Ensure weekly Toolbox Talks are done and signed and mailed to health & Safety.
- Ensure daily meetings are held and attendance of register.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Min 5 years Warehousing Managerial experience.
- Ideally 5–7-years industry experience (remanufacturing, warehousing, motor industry)
